Pepper Spray Direct Stream, 40 ml

To ensure that the order is delivered correctly, we use the DHL age verification. The delivery person will only hand over the package to people in your household who are at least 18 years old.

Please have your ID card or passport ready for delivery. If you are not at home, the package will be deposited at the nearest branch for collection.

Note:
If you are not of legal age, the package will be returned to us by DHL at your expense. DHL will indicate the reason for the lack of legal age on the return.

Pepper sprays that are freely available for sale in Germany are labeled as "animal repellent spray". They are not subject to the Weapons Act and can be purchased and carried in public by people of all ages. A firearms license is not required for this.

(Note: Carrying it may be prohibited at events, gatherings, or in protected areas such as private property.)

However, we only ship via DHL with an age verification process for adults!

• Jet/Gel: Produces a targeted, liquid stream with a long range (approx. 4-5 meters). It is particularly wind-stable and is also suitable for enclosed spaces, as the active ingredient hardly disperses in the air.

  • Fog: Produces a wide cloud of active ingredient (approx. 2-3 meter range). This makes it easier to hit a moving target in an emergency, but there is a higher risk of self-blinding in headwinds.

Sprays sold in Germany as animal repellent sprays are primarily intended for repelling aggressive animals.

• Self-defense & Assistance: The use against people is only permissible without penalty in a real self-defense or assistance situation (to defend against an imminent, unlawful attack on oneself or others).

• Legal consequences for misuse: Anyone who uses pepper spray against people without a legitimate reason for self-defense is liable to prosecution for dangerous assault and battery (§ 224 StGB). This can result in fines or imprisonment.
  
  In addition, civil claims for damages and compensation are possible.

On the plane:

• Carry-on baggage: Absolutely prohibited. You are not allowed to take pepper spray in the aircraft cabin under any circumstances.
  

• Checked baggage (suitcase): Mostly prohibited. A few airlines allow sprays up to a maximum of 118 ml with a safety mechanism to prevent accidental triggering.
  
  Attention: Many airlines (e.g. Lufthansa, Ryanair) completely exclude defense sprays from checked baggage. Therefore, always check with your airline in advance.

Abroad / At the holiday resort:

• Observe weapons laws: The legal situation varies greatly from country to country.
  
  While pepper spray is freely available in Germany for animal defense, possession or import is strictly prohibited and punishable for private individuals in many popular holiday countries (e.g. Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Greece, Great Britain).
  

• Check entry requirements: Before your trip, check with the customs authorities or authorities of your destination country about the laws there.

Tip: If you don't want to do without a feeling of security when traveling, it is best to use legally permitted alternatives such as a loud alarm (scream alarm) or a tactical flashlight.
