The blade of the Opinel No. 6 is made of high-alloy carbon steel (Carbon XC90) and can be easily resharpened – an advantage you'll quickly appreciate in outdoor use. The blade is secured using the proven Virobloc system: a simple turn of the safety ring locks the blade quickly and securely. The handle is made from dried, long-stored beechwood and features a special lacquer coating that protects it from moisture.
