The Opinel No. 9 combines a durable blade made of stainless Sandvik steel 12C27 with a handle made from a single piece of walnut wood. The Virobloc ring securely locks the blade in the open position against accidental closing. A special coating protects the wooden handle from moisture – practical for changing weather conditions in outdoor use.
